Note: I’m still on my politics-related hiatus but came across this one today and it was just too absurd to pass up from a psychological p.o.v. I’ve never read anything like it [article content warning]. Either this is some disturbingly well-written satire or Salon and others are promoting a whole ‘nother level of abject stupidity. Side Note: Never heard of “purity balls” (though I have heard of purity rings); not sure how many people outside of a very small percentage of Caucasians in the south/country participate in such. I’ve been directly/indirectly involved with numerous Christian forums, churches, etc., and have never heard of anyone discussing (let alone attending) such a thing. Also, what Salon promotes as “healthy” premarital sexuality is pretty much guaranteed to massively increase the likelihood of divorce. Remember, women who have had ten or more sexual partners before marriage have a divorce rate of about 80% (20% survive though; there is hope… none of us are perfect, we all have things on which to work — part of the answer is ditching the liberal mindset and turning to Truth as God enables).

People just don’t want to have sex. This would mainly be seen with women who are just appalled at how creepy Trump is…”
