“British Prime Minister Theresa May said on Friday she would quit, triggering a contest that will bring a new leader to power… May’s departure will deepen the Brexit crisis as a new leader is likely to want a more decisive split, raising the chances of a confrontation with the European Union and a snap parliamentary election.” Source: British Prime Minister Theresa May Resigns
Note: Many British/English people want local (national) governance without the EU Mandates, fines, taxes, legislation, etc. They want a sovereign nation, one that can set its own economic. energy, and immigration agendas. Theresa May was part of the stall process; she did not at all appear interested in, or dedicated to, a swift and decisive break from the European Union. This angered many (remember, the people voted in favour of Brexit) and such delays are a big part of what is now, essentially, the political equivalent of a “Bye Felicia” moment for her. Personally, I’d prefer to see Nigel fill the spot; hopefully, however, Boris will manage a swift and successful exit/Brexit, seeing it through to a rapid and conclusive end.
